I installed version 2.5.74 on a Laptop running Windows Vista and on a Desktop PC running Windows XP to test the interworking with Windows Live Messenger and with LiveStream Broadcaster, using PiP.

With Windows Vista the program works as expected.

On Windows XP the name "ManyCam Virtual Webcam" does not show up in the camera selector in the different programs (Messenger, Skype, LiveStream, ...).

I downgraded to version 2.4.69 on Windows XP, the name shows up in all programs and the program works fine. I am sorry that the new features like PiP are not available in this "old" version.

My first impression of this software is that it is very ingenious and a great piece of work. Congratulations to the developers. Many thanks to offer such a useful program for free.

I will test all the features in the coming days and give an additional feedback.

Until now by searching on the web I did not found an answer to my question : What is the business model of ManyCam ? Or is it an hobby project ?

Greetings from Luxembourg

the pipscreen size need to be adjustable. The pip screen need also to be allowed outside the screen, so that we can only use a part of the pipscreen.

thanks

I hate how the app starts automatically when I run Messenger. Even worse some websites trigger the app too.

In this version ManyCam works really slow.
When ManyCam works slow and I choose a video the video stops every 1 second and then it starts again.
Can you make ManyCam a little faster?

I use manycam on a website called stickam, and ever since I installed 2.5xx, When I go to turn my webcam on it zooms in to the point where everything is pixelated. I never had this problem with the 2.4 versions. Is there a fix for this?
