Many of our users like to use ManyCam to live video chat with others because you can add cool webcam effects and graphics to your video stream. But did you know that ManyCam got its name from its ability to split webcams between many applications and websites simultaneously? This means you can video chat with several different people all at the same time! If you choose ManyCam as your video source, you can use Skype, Chatroulette, Omegle, Ustream and any other video chat service concurrently to reach many different viewers.

We’ve recently received a few emails and comments from users about our ManyCam for Mac software not working on some Flash based websites such as Omegle. We are still working on an update for our Mac software, however in the meanwhile if you are having trouble viewing ManyCam as a video source, or if it shows up as a black screen on some websites, you can try using different browsers like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Sometimes using a browser other than Safari will temporarily solve the problem. Thanks for your patience!
We’ve recently added a FAQ to our Help section on our website so that our users can find quick answers to a question or problem they may have when using ManyCam. We are constantly updating this section of the website with answers to the most frequent questions received, and may update some of the information already on there as new versions are released.
