Wow, amazing how this happened and there is no support at all for the new Retina Macbook Pro. Emailed support weeks ago and got no response at all! Wake up, ManyCam is not working properly on the RMBP! Please fix it.

We are working on a major Mac update but it will be awhile.

Thank you for replying. What about just a Retina MBP fixed version until that major release?

I just downloaded this and it won’t let me even put a still image up as my live feed. I was told by a lot of people that it would work. What’s going on?!

Broken on my MBP retina too. Unfortunate, gotta uninstall it.

I really liked using Manycam it was really useful using cam chats to show desktop, photographs etc. Dam shame it is broken now for so long. I am disappointed we haven’t heard anything about a fix for the retina macs.

I guess the only choice is to dump it and find something more up-to-date!

To get ManyCam working on retina MBP:

Go to Applications > ManyCam folder > right click (ctrl + click or double finger tap) on ManyCam app > select Get info > check the box to open in low resolution.

Use Google chrome since it is a 32-bit browser or open Firefox in 32-bit mode to be able to select Manycam in Adobe Flash Camera Settings. Using a 64-bit browser rarely ever worked.

I have used the above methods to get Manycam working in both Lion and Mountain Lion on a retina MBP
